Area Sales Manager
Location of the Job: East Midlands.
Salary and Benefits:
Paying a basic salary of around £24,000 plus uncapped commission.
Realistic OTE of £45,000.

The Job Role Details:
A fantastic opportunity is available for an Area Sales Manager to cover the East Midlands.
You will be responsible for selling a wide range of agricultural equipment directly to farmers within this sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
Manage all aspects of machinery sales and promote other company services within the East Midlands territory.
Generation of sales leads from existing and potential new customers via on farm visit, telephone, e-mail and any other method approved by the company and meet sales targets.
Carry out the sales process from lead through to customer order including ensuring the product offered meets customer requirements, demonstration, part exchange appraisal and valuation, pricing, finance, written quotation and negotiation to ensure retention of margin to the company's satisfaction.
Coordinate the necessary actions post customer order such as PDI, registration and finance to ensure a successful delivery to the end customer.
Oversee delivery and installation with subsequent follow up.
Work to achieve volume and profitability targets as set by Sales Director.
Keep company database up to date with any change of detail or additional contacts.
Keep an accurate copy of quotations and any such information that the company may require.
Assist with special events such as shows and open days.
Attend shows, meetings and training events.
Work as part of a sales team and cooperate with other departments and adhere to company policies and ethics.

Proven successful in a similar agricultural machinery sales role.
Living within or local to the East Midlands territory.
Good knowledge of the agricultural and farming industry.
Willing to travel as and when required to meet with customers.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
