The Job Role Details:
Are you an experienced agricultural or poultry sales professional able to manage new sales activity?
In this role you will work with farms, distributors and contractors to advise on the use of the poultry products and services the company has to offer. Proactively problem solving to generate sales through both project specifications and repeat customer business.
Ideally you will have experience of supporting a culture within the sales team of excellent customer service and sales and margin success. Practical onsite experience would also be desirable in order to drive achieving the target margin for installation projects through supporting the installation team.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
Generate new sales opportunities within the poultry sector.
Deliver the sales turnover and margin target for your territory.
Manage the sales project pipeline for your territory.
Provide sales intelligence to support the management and marketing teams.
Support the relationship between sales and operations.
Liaise with marketing team to support the development of the company brand.
Develop and maintain account relationships with poultry and livestock businesses and their suppliers / business partners e.g. shed builders, merchants, distributors, contractors.
Deal with customer organisations at all levels.
Sell projects and turn-key solutions.
Motivate, lead and influence others.
Support the development of a leading brand.
Oversee project installations.
The planning and environmental approvals process within livestock businesses.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
Proven agricultural sales experience and success – within livestock, dairy and / or poultry equipment.
Understanding of the poultry and livestock markets and the challenges they face.
Relationships with relevant merchants and dealers.
Presentation skills including business case and seminar presentations.
Excellent IT Skills.
Full UK Driving License.
