The Job Role:
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced farm worker to join a growing team.

Location:
Welsh Borders

Salary Package:
£35,000 - £42,500 basic salary which is inclusive of 500 hours overtime.
Accommodation is available, suitable for one person with shared facilities.
After 500 hours overtime has been reached, overtime rate will be paid alongside the regular salary at time and a quarter.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 39 hours a week. During busy periods, you will be expected to work overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
This role will mainly be working on potato operations, however there will also be assistance required from time to time on other arable operations
You will be operating a Fendt tractor
De-stoning
Cultivating
Drilling
Fertiliser logistics
Irrigation duties
All aspects of harvest work
The role is varied, and no two days are the same

Candidate Skills and Requirements:
Must have previous experience in operating farm machinery, at least 3+ years.
Previous experience working with potatoes; cultivating, drilling, harvesting and irrigation is preferred but not essential
A strong attention to detail
Basic maintenance understanding to look after tractors and machinery
Ability to manage own workload
Ability to work as part of a team
Hold a valid UK driving licence
Ability to work flexible hours when required
Telehandler/forklift/PA1/PA2 tickets are all desirable but not essential
Any other relevant qualifications and certificates to the above role would be beneficial
