Digital Marketing Specialist - Farm Machinery - Hybrid

Location of the Job: West Midlands - Hybrid. 3 days office / 2 days home.

Salary and Benefits Package:

  • Paying £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary depending on experience.

About The Company:

An international family business in the agricultural sector, with the objective to make farmers' lives easier with solutions and tailored services.

The Job Role Details:

Working closely with and reporting directly to the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for liaising with the team and the Marketing and Communication department in to ensure that the company strategy and online goals are optimised and implemented.

You will be responsible for supporting the Sales Advisors in generating qualified leads and maximising national marketing and you will understand and transform our sales and marketing data into knowledge.

Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing to close those leads into customers, the latter of which sales leadership will help you accomplish.

You will be responsible for:

  • Email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing and deployment and continually evaluate these for improvements.
  • Maintaining the marketing integration with the CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing software.
  • Understanding and evaluating campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team.
  • Working with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyse campaign performance.
  • Creating recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
  • Managing marketing efforts and processes, proactively research and implement the latest and best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Planning and performing A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Supporting essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.

Training Support;

  • Working with the team to build on current marketing initiatives and translate it to digital initiative.
  • Working with a reflection of our ideal customer in mind and their stage in the customer journey to make sure we deliver the right content to the right person at the right time.
  • Establishing closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.

Distribution development;

  • Building and managing a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.). You will do this together with our specialised experts and possibly external influencers.
  • Growing new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Optimising our marketing department and leading nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Setting the goals for multiple online channels and setting editorial guidelines for all online content.
  • Taking care of all that content on these channels is accurate, up to‐date and appropriate to our brand.
  • Developing opportunities to improve the customer experience.

Stakeholder Management;

  • Networking with influencers and specialised external experts.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Digital marketing experience in a similar role.
  • Skills in creating and delivering digital content on social media platforms and online, and able to track performance.
  • A passion, interest or experience of the Agricultural / Farming / Dairy sector.
  • Experience using META and Google Analytics.
  • A valid UK driver's license.
